Dr. Brian McNeely, DDS, was born in China Grove, NC, a small town he is proud to call home. He graduated from East Carolina University, magna cum laude, with a degree in chemistry. He then went on to dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Dr. McNeely founded his practice on the philosophy of providing quality, compassionate dental care for the entire family. He aims to give his patients the very best treatment in a caring and gentle environment. Excellent customer service with small town values are the focus of McNeely Family Dentistry.
Because Dr. McNeely is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest technology, he attends numerous continuing education courses every year. He is a certified provider of Invisalign® and oral sedation. Dr. McNeely is also a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr. McNeely enjoys spending time with his wife, Julianna, and their daughter, Annabelle. He also loves golfing, fishing, hiking, hunting, and generally staying active outdoors. He is happy to be practicing dentistry in Harrisburg, so close to his family and hometown of China Grove.
Dr. Justin Mallette
Dr. Justin Mallette was born in Greenville, NC and raised a military brat moving up and down the eastern seaboard as well as several locations overseas. He graduated Cum Laude from George Mason University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Mallette then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Mallette left Virginia after dental school to pursue a General Practice Residency (GPR)- at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville.
While completing his GPR he had extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry. Including simple and surgical extractions, implant placement and restoration, anterior and molar root canals, crown and bridge, and complete and partial dentures. While in his residency Dr. Mallette treated patients in the dental clinic and operating room; he also was on call at an emergency department treating dental trauma.
Following his residency Dr. Mallette worked as an associate dentist at a practice in Asheville. While there he gained significant experience in removable prosthodontics (dentures and partials) and implant placement for the edentulous patient.
Dr. Mallette has a passion to restore his patients’ smiles, to allow them full function of their teeth, and give them confidence while smiling. He strives to make his patients as comfortable as possible during their first exam and throughout their treatment. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Mallette enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his wife, Lauren and their new addition to their family, Oliver, who was born in January.
Dr. Mallette is excited to join the practice and become part of Dr. McNeely’s great office team.
Dr. Emily Wenger
Dr. Emily Wenger was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and she graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in biological sciences. Dr. Wenger then moved to Baltimore, MD where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To further her training, she completed a hospital residency in general dentistry at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. While completing her residency, she received additional training in a wide range of disciplines, including clinical dentistry, emergency medical care, inpatient and special patient care, and oral pathology.
Constantly striving for excellence and perfection in her work, Dr. Wenger is comfortable providing a range of dental services including cosmetic restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, crown and bridge, implant restorations, and treatment/management of TMD. She also loves treating children and tries to make dental appointments fun as possible, putting their fears at ease. Dr. Wenger makes a point to stay current with the latest technology and techniques in the field of dentistry, and she is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Charlotte Dental Society.
Dr. Wenger now lives in Charlotte, NC with her fiancé and their dog, Joey. In her free time, you can probably catch her doing yoga, hiking with her dog, or catching some rays out on the lake.
